The Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia visited the bolt factory in Knin

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, accompanied by his colleagues – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Ivan Anušić, Minister of Finance Marko Primorac, and Minister of Economy Ante Šušnjar – visited the bolt factory in Knin today and held a working meeting.

The Prime Minister was welcomed by the leaders of the Management Board of DIV Group and Brodosplit, who introduced him to the current operations, projects, and ongoing investments.

The entire DIV Group comprises several companies in the metalworking industry, including the production of standard fasteners and systems for the construction of railway and road infrastructure (DIV Grupa Ltd.), shipbuilding (Brodosplit Inc. and Shipyard of Special Facilities Ltd.), and shipping (Brodosplit-Ship Management Ltd.). The group employs around 2,000 workers in Croatia and approximately 500 workers abroad.

In 2023, the largest companies in the group (DIV Grupa Ltd., Brodosplit Inc., and Shipyard of Special Facilities Ltd.) achieved total revenues of 154.9 million euros with a net profit of 32.1 million euros, noting that the majority of revenues are generated in the international market.

Over the past fourteen years (2010-2023), the entire DIV Group has paid 453 million euros to employees, 1.5 billion euros to suppliers, 380 million euros to the state in taxes and concessions, nearly 258 million euros to state and municipal enterprises and the local community, and 140 million euros to financial institutions.

In summary, through our operations, the state has directly and indirectly earned almost one billion euros.
