Projects for Increasing Energy Efficiency

Every year, on April 22, we celebrate Earth Day, which serves as a reminder of the importance of environmental protection and caring for our planet to ensure its sustainability for future generations. In the DIV Group, emphasis is placed on corporate social responsibility to improve the quality of life in the community. We are dedicated to responsible relations with employees, the local community, and the environment.

Through long-term investments in environmentally friendly production, adaptation to new EU regulations, expansion of production capacities, and opening new markets, we have laid the foundation for further export records in the future.

Recognizing innovations as the key to competitiveness in the international market, and the importance of a systematic approach to developing innovative products and improving production and business processes, the DIV Group is implementing numerous energy efficiency projects, co-financed by European Structural Funds.

The installation of a new lighting system based on LED technology has resulted in lower electricity consumption and a reduction in CO2 emissions into the environment.

Energy efficiency improvement projects include the transition to a heat pump system for utilizing waste heat, which will result in reduced emissions into the environment and lower electricity consumption.

Additionally, the construction of a 6500 KW photovoltaic power plant at the DIV bolt factory in Knin will further reduce the need for purchasing electricity.

The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund.
