Katina

MY Katina is the largest Croatian yacht intended for commercial charter throughout the year. She was built in 2015 in the Shipyard of special facilities and is an irreplaceable part of the Brodosplit fleet.  Since her first appearance at the Monaco Yacht Show at the end of 2015, she has continuously welcomed discerning guests of high social status.

Brodosplit has built a 60-metre yacht for its fleet, which can accommodate 12 passengers on its three decks in six VIP cabins and is looked after by 15 crew members. The yacht is intended for unlimited sailing on all seas, but so far it has taken its guests through the Mediterranean, the Caribbean islands, the Seychelles, the Maldives, Dubai, Doha and several other worldly destinations. 

Commercial charter, marketing and bookings are managed by the central agency „ Thompson Westwood & White Yachts “ in Monaco, where Katina is regularly chartered each year during the Monaco Grand Prix as part of the Formula 1 race.

The charter for the yacht is €320,000 per week in the high season, July and August. This ship normally cruises the Mediterranean until mid-September, when demand is at its highest. In the winter months, the Katina can also be chartered outside the Mediterranean, as was the case last winter when she was permanently chartered in Doha and Qatar during the World Cup. In recent winters, this boat has been chartered in various exotic locations,including the Maldives, Seychelles, Saudi Arabia, and the Caribbean. 

The hull and superstructure of the ship are made of steel, the wheelhouse is made of an aluminum alloy. Two drive motors with an output of 1000 kW give Katina a speed of more than 14 knots. The propulsion system is controlled remotely from the wheelhouse and via an additional portable plug-and-play console. Two pairs of high-quality zero-speed stabilizers ensure a comfortable ride and neutralize the rocking of the vessel, especially when the yacht is at anchor. 4.000 nautical miles of autonomy are possible thanks to the capacity of the fuel and water tanks and the storage space. The capacity of the galley allows meals to be prepared for up to 50 people. 

In her six VIP cabins located on the upper deck, the Katina can accommodate 12 passengers, who are looked after by 15 crew members, and the spacious lounge for meetings and parties can accommodate up to 35 people.Six luxuriously appointed VIP cabins for guests are located on the upper deck, and the spacious lounge and meeting room can accommodate up to 35 people simultaneously for business meetings, presentations or parties. The entire yacht is equipped with an audio-video entertainment system and internet connections. All three decks are connected by a passenger elevator, while food from the kitchen is delivered by a special elevator. 

The yacht is equipped with a sauna, jacuzzi, specialized medical clinic, gym and wave stabilizer, which are part of Katina's premium offer. 

The Katina differs from other yachts, which gives it a noticeable advantage, as it has the most modern equipment for water and adrenaline sports, such as windsurfing, water scooters, water parks, slides, kayaks, paddleboards, flyboards, bicycles, bananas and similar towable toys, wakeboards, water skis, diving equipment, sport fishing equipment, big game, jetpacks, hoverboards and sea bobs. The crew is specially trained to organize children's parties with water toys and in the water park.
